Compassionate, Dedicated Elder Law Attorneys | Los Angeles, California
Our law firm was founded by attorney Mitchell A. Karasov in 1996. Mr. Karasov founded the firm after taking a hiatus from the practice of law to care for his aging grandmother. During that time, he realized how difficult it was — even for a licensed attorney — to arrange proper care and asset protection strategies for an aging loved one. In addition, he was surprised at how few lawyers had tangible experience in the area of elder law.
As a result, he founded the law firm that he wished had been available for his grandmother. The firm offers a comprehensive array of services to help clients with all aspects of elder law. The firm takes as much of the burden from clients as possible, so that clients can be free focus on what's most important — spending time with family and friends.
In the time since founding the firm, Mr. Karasov has served as president of the Southern California Council of Elder Law Attorneys and as chair of the Elder Law Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He served as the co-program chair of the San Fernando Valley Bar Association Probate and Estate Planning Section, and he is also a member of the Advocacy Committee of the Alzheimer's Association of Southern California. He now belongs to "The Order of Distinguished Attorneys".
The Law Offices of Mitchell A. Karasov has grown to include four experienced attorneys and a robust staff.
